My name is Shannon and I was born and raised in Austin, Texas. My favorite color is green and I'm a dog AND cat person. I love being outside, and I especially love water (I'm an Aquarius, duh...) I draw inspiration from my dad who can make anything, anytime and my mom who finds beauty in everything. I've grown up following my mom through garage sales, antique shows and small businesses shops. If there's one thing I've learned it's things aren't made like they used to be! The things I get most excited about finding are remnant pieces...scraps that are disregarded as trash. Everything is a puzzle piece and I love putting together new puzzles.
I spend at least 2 weeks out of the year in Round Top, Texas at Antique Week scouring barns and fields for treasure. When I'm not in the fields of Warrenton, I love discovering small Texas towns and wandering through their musty antique shops. My husband, Lance and my Australian Shepherd, Abby and I often venture outdoors for inspiration and scavenger hunts for project materials.
